Im weiteren Verlauf des zweiten Kapitels wird eine Differenzierung der Bionik zur technischen Biologie vorgenommen woraufhin am dem Ende des zweiten Kapitels auf die Teilgebiete der Bionik eingegangen wird. Kapitel drei liefert die notwendigen Kenntnisse über die für diese Arbeit relevanten Sehorgane und geht auf die Vorteile des Sehorgans von Gliederfüßern gegenüber dem Menschen ein. Resultierend aus den Vorteilen, wird im vierten Kapitel auf die bionisch sinnvolle Nutzung dieser eingegangen. Anhand von drei ausgewählten Beispielen soll verdeutlicht werden, wo das Prinzip der Facettenaugen angewendet werden kann und wie guy dieses technisch nutzbar macht. Der Schlussteil dieser Arbeit enthält eine Betrachtung der Gesamtthematik und gibt die persönliche Meinung des Verfassers wieder.
